Accepting the Gold Ogle for “The Will of the Woods”
We had a great time at the massive sci-fi/fantasy convention CONvergence in Minneapolis where we were invited to pick up our Gold Ogle Award for The Will of the Woods!
We had a lovely time catching up with old friends like Jerry Stearns (Great Northern Audio) Matthew & Monique Boudreau (Aural Stage), Fred Greenhalgh (Final Rune Productions), Scott Hickey, Brian and Elanor Price, Kris Markman and Jonathan Mitchell (The Truth). We also met new friends from Our Fair City: Jeffrey Gardner, Betsey Palmer, Clayton Faits, David Rheinstrom and Sebastian Orr. They performed an amazing live special episode of their postapocalyptic satire audio drama.

We had an amazing time at CONvergence, which is definitely the biggest geek event we’ve ever been to. This year it was also the biggest audio drama event, with live performances, a 75th anniversary War of the Worlds homage contest and “room 404”, a haven for all things audio drama, where casual con visitors could even get a taste of the magic by performing and recording their own audio dramas!
