Crocodile Dikoog
Ronan has always been obsessed with crocodiles. Therefore, he would really love to visit his friend Antonio one day, who lives in Florida. When he was five, his mum brought him a stuffed crocodile from Ikea, which he named ‘Dikoog’ (‘Fateye’). That was the second best day of his life.
Little brother
Whether in his creative endeavours, watching The Lord of the Rings or Spongebob, scouting the woods or simply roughhousing, … Everything feels better for Ronan when shared with his little brother Liam, who’s also his best friend, confidant and biggest supporter. Like mum and dad and like Mario and Luigi, both boys dream of sharing a business one day. Ronan has registered the day Liam was born as the best day of his life.

Efteling trips
Though he’s never travelled outside of Europe, Ronan is quite content with regular visits to his favourite theme park in The Netherlands: De Efteling. There lies the magic source that enkindled his love for stories, reading, movies, drawing, writing and filming.
A cradle creative
Ronan has been a creative since he was still living in his mother’s womb. He couldn’t help but dance whenever his favourite soundtracks played. He lives to create, whether it is assembling new Lego characters, making stop motion videos, writing a 12-page novel, creating a Tycoon theme park, drawing and writing his own cartoons or driving his parents crazy experimenting with musical instruments.
He likes technology, especially when it’s retro. There is just a certain charm to your parents old DVDs and CDs. If he spots a button, he needs to push it, especially if it’s a red one. He has a talent for breaking things, even though the quality of Lego has clearly decreased over time.
As head of the constructive criticism department, Ronan has a bold and direct approach, which comes in handy when he feels obligated to tell his parents where they can still improve their skills and projects (or lose a few more pounds). He occasionally lends his voice to a dramatized audiobook in exchange for a printed copy of another of his 12-page-novels. Any other bribe won’t do, except maybe candy.
He’s probably not even aware anymore of his first voice acting experience, which was playing little Frederick Elsenbach in The Beast of the Western Wilds. He also played some minor parts with his brother in The Treasure of Boneyard Bay. Occasionally he does voice over work for small commercials his parents make for customers.
Even though Ronan has lots of toys, he prefers his dad’s. He’s always touching his audio equipment, fidgeting with the interface sliders and hiding in the ‘recording booth wardrobe’. Until he learns to deal with those tools for real, his parents keep his chair at the Audio Epics chairholders table warm.
Ronan’s early interest in the family business…
