Stuffed Elephant
Liam loves elephants and he has about a score of cuddly elephants in all sizes, but one is his favourite, because he’s been with us since Liam was still a baby. He named him “Buttfart Buttshit” (‘Poepescheet Poepkak’ in Flemish, ‘Butty’ for his friends) when he was still very little and the name stuck till this day, often provoking frowns on the faces of those who dare ask for his name.
Big bro
Ronan is Liam’s big hero, though he can be quite noisy. But Liam loves to throw himself at the mercy of Ronan’s new obsessions. So far, they have discovered so many cool things together that have inspired them to play out their own scenarios. Like Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Spongebob, etc.
Efteling themepark
Liam is very fond of the Dutch theme park ‘De Efteling’. He can’t get enough of it. His favourite ride is a dark ride called ‘Droomvlucht’ (Dream Flight). Liam just loves watching those pretty elves.
Cuddly creative
Born in 2019, Liam is the latest addition of the De Groot family. He’s just as imaginative as his big brother and is always eager to dress up and play a part in a story that he and his bro came up with. They especially love inventing fan fic stories to their beloved franchises, like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Spongebob, Harry Potter, etc.
Mostly, the two brothers are thick as thieves. Occassionally, though, Liam has to fight for his creative say when his big brother naturally plants himself in the director’s chair.
Liam has a knack for recognizing and reproducing melodies. He loves musical instruments and would love to become a composer one day. He especially loves the violin, which was clear from his reactions to string orchestras when he was still growing in the womb.
Liam loves joking about and is especially fond of word jokes, like his big brother. He often surprises his parents with a punch line that makes them laugh out loud, so if they ever start creating comedy, they should definitely involve him in the creative process.
Already, he loves to read and draw and he is looking forward to learning how to write his first sentences, so he can work with his brother on an ambitious comic book.
